DAY 1

Day 1 - Arusha to Tarangire

Pick up at 8:30 AM from your hotel in Arusha and depart for Tarangire National Park with a picnic lunch for a full day game drive. Tanzania’s third largest National park is known for its majestic baobab trees that dot the landscape, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. The Tarangire River is the centerpiece of this park which is famous for some of the largest herds of elephants in Africa. Here you may see lion, leopard, cheetah, lesser kudu, buffalo, Oryx, eland, giraffe and zebra. Post the game drive, you will head back to your camp/lodge where a delicious dinner awaits you.

DAY 2

Day 2 - Tarangire National Park to Central Serengeti

Start the day with an early morning game drive in Tarangire National Park, organized by Geovannah Tanzania Adventures.
Enjoy a delicious breakfast at the lodge before departing for the Serengeti National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world's most impressive wildlife sanctuaries.
Travel through the beautiful landscapes of Tanzania, passing through local villages and vast grasslands, with opportunities to take photos and learn more about the local culture and environment.
Along the way, stop for a refreshing picnic lunch, giving you the chance to stretch your legs and soak in the stunning surroundings.
As you reach the Serengeti, embark on an afternoon game drive with Geovannah Tanzania Adventures, exploring the endless plains in search of the diverse wildlife that inhabits this region.

DAY 3 & 4

Day 3 & Day 4 - Central Serengeti with Geovannah Tanzania Adventures

Choose from two options for your game drives:
- Option 1: Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and depart for full-day game drives at 9:00 AM, with a packed lunch provided. Return to the lodge by 6:00 PM.
- Option 2: Embark on an early morning game drive at 6:00 AM, then return to your accommodation for breakfast and some relaxation. In the afternoon, depart for another game drive with a packed lunch.
Explore the central region of Serengeti National Park, known as the Seronera area, which is one of the richest wildlife habitats in the park.
Discover the Seronera River, an essential water source that attracts a diverse range of wildlife species.
During the off-season of the Great Wildebeest Migration, keep an eye out for the many lion prides that thrive in this area, offering an excellent game-viewing experience year-round.

DAY 5

Day 5 - Central Serengeti to Ngorongoro with Geovannah Tanzania Adventures

Begin your day with a morning game drive in Serengeti National Park, organized by Geovannah Tanzania Adventures.
After the game drive, return to your accommodation for breakfast and prepare for the journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
Depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area with a picnic lunch provided by Geovannah Tanzania Adventures.
Enjoy the scenic drive, passing through the diverse landscapes of Tanzania, from grasslands and savannas to volcanic craters and mountains.
Arrive at the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site known for its stunning natural beauty and abundant wildlife.
Settle into your accommodation, and take some time to relax and enjoy the breathtaking views of the Ngorongoro Crater.

DAY 6

Day 6 - Ngorongoro Crater Tour (5 hours) to Arusha with Geovannah Tanzania Adventures

Begin your day with an early breakfast before embarking on a thrilling descent into the Ngorongoro Crater at approximately 6:30 AM, organized by Geovannah Tanzania Adventures.
Discover the breathtaking Ngorongoro Crater, the world's largest inactive, intact, and unfilled volcanic caldera, spanning 260 sq km with a depth of over 2000 feet.
Enjoy a 5-hour game drive across the crater floor, offering plenty of opportunities to witness diverse wildlife, including African elephants, buffalos, black rhinos, hippos, hyenas, cheetahs, and lions. Keep your camera ready for unforgettable moments.
After the game drive, savor a picnic lunch at the stunning Hippo pool, surrounded by the majestic beauty of the Ngorongoro Crater.

This tour starts from Arusha. Kilimanjaro airport is the nearest international airport and Arusha airport is the nearest domestic airport. Please check our page on how to get to Arusha

This tour starts & ends at Arusha with road transfers between all locations. Central Serengeti is the farthest location you will be visiting in this tour and it is 7 hours from Arusha, each way. You can check about driving and flying to Serengeti here. To save drive time, you can directly fly into Central Serengeti where your safari vehicle with guide will be waiting to directly start the safari and cover other parks over the next few days making your way to Arusha by road on the last day. We will reroute the itinerary such that you cover all the parks included in the original itinerary with the same choice of accommodations & same number of nights as included in the original itinerary. This is called a Fly-in Safari

We can also reroute the itinerary such that you start with driving from Arusha on day 1 and cover other parks before you drive to Serengeti. We end the safari tour at Central Serengeti on the last day from where you can fly out to Ausha (or other cities). We will reroute the itinerary such that you cover all the parks included in the original itinerary with the same choice of accommodations & same number of nights as included in the original itinerary. This is called a Fly-out Safari.

Note 2: In the Fly into Serengeti rates mentioned above, in addition to airfare, above rates also include cost to send the safari landcruiser with guide a day in advance to Serengeti, in time for your arrival & additional park fees that results due to rerouting of itinerary.
Note 3: Flights into Serengeti land at around 10:30 AM and game drives can start soon after landing while flights out of Serengeti depart around 11:00 AM and game drives can be done till about 45 min before flight departure.
