Kilimanjaro Machame Route 7 Day’s
Explore Tours
The Machame Route, often dubbed the “whiskey route,” is renowned for its breathtaking landscapes and panoramic views of Mount Meru and Kibo. Unlike the Marangu Route, accommodation here is at camping sites in tents, where our mountain crew ensures everything is set up for you. Opting for the 7-day Machame Route is recommended, allowing an extra day for acclimatization, crucial for a successful summit ascent. However, experienced and fit climbers may opt for the 6-day route, although this skips a night at Karanga Camp on day 4, proceeding directly to Barafu Camp before the summit attempt at midnight.
